James always had a passion for staying fit and healthy, however, it wasn’t until his 16th birthday, when he was gifted a gym membership by his parents, that he started taking it seriously and saw his body transform. His desire to help others do the same, get out of their comfort zones, and become happier and more confident within themselves, led him to want to teach those around him. As a trainer, James enjoys teaching his clients healthier habits and correcting their training techniques so that they can improve their health.
For those just beginning their fitness journey, James advises finding a trainer that can help you understand the fundamentals of training. If this isn’t an option, he says it’s essential to look to other resources such as videos on the internet to learn the basics, such as the correct technique for exercises and the right program for yourself and your goals.
James believes that resistance and strength training is key, however always tailors his clients’ workouts to suit their needs.
When he’s not training himself or his clients at Revo, you’ll find James fishing or at the beach with mates.

Definitely a cat, because I am very independent. I appreciate the attention but only when I want it.
