“One day, or day one?.”
Growing up Andy was too uncoordinated for ball sports, but he still wanted to keep fit and healthy. After he found the gym and Powerlifting, he never looked back. Andy represented the Victorian team at the National Powerlifting Championships in 2022, and his since made it his goal to one day represent Australia on the international stage. As someone with a passion for health and fitness, Andy knew straight away that he wanted to become a trainer so that he could help likeminded individuals work towards achieving their goals. Andy states that his client success is his success, and he couldn’t think of anything more fulfilling than seeing his clients accomplish their goals.
For those just beginning their fitness journey, Andy says to remember that a journey of thousand miles begins with a single step. He says to ask yourself to take that single step and turn what might seem like an insurmountable journey into a work in progress!
As a powerlifter and an Sport Science graduate, Andy’s training is all about developing technical proficiency as a foundation and utilising sport science literature to prevent injury and maximise performance. A sessions with Andy revolves around integrating this training philosophy with individualised programming for sustainable, long-term progression towards achieving his client’s goals.
Outside of the gym, Andy is big on food, gaming and binging a good TV series.
