“The grass is greener where you water it”
From day one, Brad was a competitor! He played basketball, cricket, lacrosse, tennis, karate, badminton and footy, just to name a few. At age 14 he was introduced to the gym by his football club, and he has not looked back since. Brad says the path hasn’t been without its challenges and has suffered from many injuries in his time. However, he found that having to recover and rebuild his strength forced him to learn the most effective ways to train, regardless of the goal, and enabled him to hone his skills to optimise results, even when rebuilding endurance, speed, and overall performance.
Looking back, Brad says it’s crazy he didn’t realise becoming a trainer was the path for him sooner. He was always sharing his fitness knowledge with friends and family whilst working as a tradesman. Even with long hours at work, the gym remained his sanctuary, and during the crazy times of Covid-19, he took a leap and built a fitness account on socials. Seeing his content resonate with people from all over the world and helping them on their fitness journeys was incredibly rewarding. Witnessing this positive impact was a lightbulb moment, and Brad knew becoming a certified Personal Trainer was the path he needed to be on.
For those just beginning their fitness journey, Brad reminds us that everyone has a common goal: self-improvement. Whether it’s someone’s first day or they’re a seasoned athlete, each person is there to work on themselves. Don’t be intimidated, be inspired!
Brad’s training style depends on his client’s needs, but he particularly loves helping people achieve a leaner, more athletic physique while also boosting their confidence and overall mindset. It’s about feeling great inside and out!
Outside the gym you’ll find Brad competing in Spartan races, working on his social media, online coaching individuals from overseas or simply hanging with friends and family.
