“Start small!”

Tim first got into fitness after his younger brother introduced him to a gym. Although he wishes he had a tremendous story about how he became inspired to start his career as a PT, it was pretty straightforward: he enjoyed helping people in the gym and thought, “I really enjoy this, I might take a run at this as a career.” Over 11 years on, he hasn’t looked back. His favorite part of being a trainer is seeing his clients go from their first day to becoming strong, fit, able to move their bodies well, and having a fairly sound understanding of their fitness. In Tim’s words, “I love that.”

For those just beginning their fitness journey, Tim says:

  1. Start.
  2. Start small.
  3. Stay committed. Having 70% effort over an extended period of time will yield better results than 100% for one week.

Tim has a hybrid approach to training. He bases his training principles on the following values: being strong, being functionally fit, feeling good, looking good, and balancing fitness with lifestyle. He tries to instill these values in all of his clients, which leads to amazing and sustainable results.

When not training his clients, Tim enjoys gaming on his PS5 and catching a movie.

A Grizzly. According to my mother, I’m grumpy when I wake up, and I eat a lot.

What would be your first question after waking up from being cryogenically frozen for 100 years?

A decent Reuben sando.
