Tara used to go to the gym with her dad when she was a kid, but it was her own coach who inspired her to become a personal trainer. She loves the idea of being able to spend her time helping people.
For those ready to take on their own fitness endeavours, Tara says don’t be afraid to make mistakes. Just giving it a go and trying your best already puts you ahead. There’s plenty of time to learn along the way.
Tara loves strength training and showing her clients that the real fun in the gym comes from challenging yourself and lifting some heavy stuff, not just soul-draining hours on the treadmill.
When she’s not lifting heavy or teaching others how to, Tara enjoys pottery, gardening, and exploring.
