“Enjoy the journey!”
Becoming a personal trainer was a natural progression for Brianna. She grew up playing several team sports, loved long distance running, and was a big fan of hockey. So, it was no surprise that when joined a gym whilst at university, she fell in love with keeping fit there too. After graduating and pursuing a career as a teacher, she realised she could combine her love for helping other people, and her passion for the health and fitness industry by becoming a trainer. As a trainer, the thing she loves most about her job is being able to watch her clients achieve things they never thought were possible.
To those who are just beginning their fitness journey, Brianna recommends to start small, be consistent, don’t be afraid to make mistakes and enjoy the journey! Exercise is supposed to be enjoyable, not seen as a chore, so get experience doing different styles and find one you love.
Each one of Brianna’s clients receives a program that is tailored to their needs, interests and capabilities to ensure they feel confident in the gym. She likes to focus on strength by incorporating heavy lifting, resistance training and HIIT into her training programs where suitable.
When not at the gym, Brianna loves spending time with her partner and two dachshunds, hanging out with her friends, creating content, going to brunch and buying new activewear!
