Johanna first got into fitness with a negative mindset towards exercise and her body; she was doing relentless HIIT workouts, cardio sessions, and having a restrictive diet with the goal of shrinking herself. After a shift in mindset, Johanna began moving her body to become the strongest and healthiest version of herself both mentally and physically. Johanna was inspired to help others create a positive mindset towards exercise and their bodies, and becoming the strongest versions of themselves, which she finds incredibly fulfilling. Witnessing the remarkable daily transformations of her clients as they strive to become the best versions of themselves is an experience that continually inspires her.

To those who are just beginning their fitness journey, Johanna says to start moving your body in a way that feels right for you and that you enjoy. She suggested creating a realistic routine that you can stick to and show up even when you don’t want to, because at the end of the day it is about discipline and not motivation.

Johanna’s training style focuses on the concept of human flourishing and aims to help individuals achieve a state of contentment, happiness, and prosperity. Johanna firmly advocates for a holistic and balanced approach to health and training, and is dedicated to assisting her clients flourish by incorporating sustainable exercise routines which include strength and cardio sessions, nourishing dietary choices, and positive habits that promote longevity and overall well-being.

When she has spare time, Johanna loves to practice yoga, go for a dip in the ocean, read self-development books, and spend some time in the sun.
