Luke first got into fitness because he was self-conscious about the way he looked, and he wanted to change the way he felt about himself, both inside and out. Luke fell in love with the process and it was during this time he realised he wanted to work in the fitness industry. After his Mum became a trainer, Luke was inspired to do the same. Luke loves his job, and says “the feeling you get from helping someone achieve their goals, change their mindset or help them do something they never thought they could is what I love most about being a trainer”.
For those just beginning their fitness journey, Luke says to just start. He says that the journey of a thousand steps must start with the first one, so why not take that first step today.
Having come from a weightlifting, bodybuilding and CrossFit background, Luke believes that there is no one size fits all approach and ensures his training style is tailored to each client.
Outside of the gym, Luke does not stop moving. Picture him running, weightlifting, at CrossFit, cycling or competing. When he does take some time out, Luke is a total foodie.
