Shaun Sargent

Shaun’s fitness journey started with events like Tough Mudder, but when his son was born, it motivated him to look after his body so that he could look after his family. This love of training began to motivate those around him and Shaun found himself drawn to work in the industry. What Shaun loves most about his 10-year career as a coach is guiding people through the obstacles that hold them back from achieving their fitness goals.

To those hoping to kick-start their fitness journey, Shaun suggests being specific in your goals, starting with the basics and learning to be patient. “Remember that consistency beats intensity, and the only sort-cut worth taking is to hire a professional”.

Shaun’s training style is holistic and individualised. He has a history of injury management, disability support, pre and post-natal exercise and mental health coaching. “No two people are the same – so find what works for you”.

Outside the gym Shaun enjoys travelling, hiking, playing pool and BBQ’s with the family.
