“Focus on yourself.”
Max started going to the gym in high school so that he could build up muscle and get into shape. However, it wasn’t until he injured his knee and begin working with a coach to get him through his rehab that he knew this was something he was passionate about. Max loved working with his own coach, and knew he wanted to give others the same experience and share his passion for health and fitness. As a trainer, he finds joy in watching others succeed, and realise their fitness goals.
To those who want to start their fitness journey, Max advises people to let go of the fear of being judged by others; everyone is in the gym to better themselves, so focus on your own training and the results will speak for themselves.
Max is all about providing a safe and encouraging space to physically challenge yourself without any risk of injury. He will always regulate sessions based on how you are feeling, however, that doesn’t mean he will take it too easy on you!
When not at work, Max loves keeping fit, catching up with mates, and enjoying a steak.
