Joel’s inspiration to become a personal trainer came from his natural talent for programming and helping others. While in the Army, he often found himself coaching friends and family, and it became clear that personal training was his calling. The best part for Joel is seeing clients accomplish what they once thought was impossible.
To those looking to kickstart their fitness journey, Joel’s advice is to take things slow, focus on doing it right, and don’t give up!
Joel’s training style prioritises form first, ensuring clients master technique before focusing on lifting heavier. Once form is on point, he supports clients in building strength and longevity through lifting.
When not at the gym, you can find Joel walking his huskie, hiking, gaming or spending quality time with his family.
