“The best time to start is now!” 

Christen got into fitness after a friend introduced her to a community that showed her a whole new way of life. She quickly fell in love with fitness, particularly its aspects of self-development and empowerment. Having struggled with a poor relationship with food herself and inspired to help others make better health and fitness choices, Christen decided to become a personal trainer. 

For those hoping to kick-start their fitness journeys, Christen says the best time to start is now. She encourages people to push aside self-doubt and take the first step, noting that slow progress is still progress. In six months, you’ll be grateful you began, as that time will pass whether you commit to your training or not. 

Christen’s training style is diverse, utilising various modalities tailored to her clients’ experience and goals. She is particularly passionate about strength training and functional training. 

Outside of the gym, Christen enjoys Brazilian jiu-jitsu, cycling and camping.
