We’re partnering with Carrie’s Beanies 4 Brain Cancer to contribute to brain cancer research and awareness 💙
Who we’re supporting
We’ve partnered with Carrie’s Beanies 4 Brain Cancer, a charity founded by Carrie Bickmore after losing her husband Greg to brain cancer. What started with a blue beanie on the Logies stage has grown into a movement that’s raised over $30 million for research. We couldn’t be prouder to stand alongside them.
Why it matters
Brain cancer kills more Australians under 40, and more children, than any other cancer. Around 2,100 Australians are diagnosed every year, and it receives less than 5% of government cancer research funding. The numbers don’t add up, and that’s exactly why we’re getting behind it.
This one is also deeply personal. In 2021, our founder Andrew’s mother-in-law, Ang, was diagnosed with brain cancer, she was the centrepiece of their family, and losing her in 2023 changed their family forever. Turning that sadness and loss into meaningful impact and purpose is why the Revo Foundation exists. You’ll notice sunflowers woven through this campaign. They’re for Ang. She’s with us in every step.
How it works
- Wednesday 12 August, 10am–7pm, in every Revo club Australia-wide
- Each club will have dedicated Steps 4 Brain Cancer treadmills
- Walk, jog or run – every kilometre you clock triggers a $10 donation from the Revo Foundation
- Our goal: 10,000km in a single day, raising $100,000 for brain cancer research and family support
No sign-up. No cost. No fundraising asks. Just turn up, get on the treadmill, and move. Every kilometre counts.
Want to do more? You can make a direct donation to Carrie’s Beanies 4 Brain Cancer here.
Get on those treadmills and help us move the needle. Let’s make a difference, together.
