REVO Fitness supports Pride WA

Here at REVO Fitness we have been on a mission to constantly improve the way in which we engage with our members, the wider fitness industry and society as a whole, on our journey towards a more responsible, sustainable and positive social impact organisation.

Part of that journey involves providing an inclusive environment where people feel supported and welcome to demonstrating their unique talents, whilst championing the incredible diversity of cultural expression that exists within our community.

That’s why we are excited to announce our support for Pride WA and PrideFEST in 2019 as a Friend of Pride WA. Pride WA’s mission and principal purpose is to encourage and promote culture and the arts in Western Australia by celebrating the unique talents and identities of our sexually and gender diverse community.

One of REVO’s long term members, Reid Smith, is pleased to see this partnership come to fruition.

“I’ve been a REVO member for over 5 years now, since the first gym opened in Shenton Park. I have always felt welcomed and included and now seeing REVO officially come on board as a Friend of Pride WA is really affirming.”

These sentiments were mirrored by Founder and Managing Director Andrew Holder who said the partnership had been a long time in the making.

“We have always admired Pride WA and the work they do in promoting gender and sexually diverse cultural expression throughout WA. This partnership marks our commitment to make a meaningful and positive contribution to build awareness and support for WA’s LGBTQI+ community”

This November sees the launch of PrideFEST and we encourage everyone to get involved and support any and all initiatives. There are many amazing events to attend to celebrate and support some of the wonderful talent from our LGBTQI+ community.
