Celebrating women at Revo Fitness – International Women’s Day 2025
At Revo Fitness, we are surrounded by strong, passionate, and inspiring women who make our community what it is today. To celebrate International Women’s Day, we sat down with some of the incredible women at Revo to hear their stories and perspectives. From career journeys to reflections on the importance of gender equality, their words remind us why this day is so important.
Meet some of the women at Revo Fitness
Tesny – Operations Manager
How did you get into your role? I started at Revo three years ago as a Member Experience Lead, progressed my way into Club Manager, then moved into a floating Club Manager role, helping out across all of our clubs in WA. I’m now about to start my Operations Manager role!
Favourite thing about working at Revo? I have always said I love the people. Being surrounded by like-minded co-workers and everyone who is so passionate about what they do.
What does International Women’s Day mean to you? Celebrating all women, no matter who you are or what you do for work.
Shanneey – Member Experience Lead
How did you get into your role? I applied for a Member Experience Lead role, which I got. As I continued working, an opportunity opened for me to learn management skills, and that led to me doubling as a 2IC sometimes.
Favourite thing about working at Revo? The community. Everyone I work with is so nice. I genuinely look forward to coming into work because of the environment Revo has created, and having amazing bosses helps too!
What does International Women’s Day mean to you? It’s a day that reminds me of the strong, uplifting women who surround me. It’s a chance to celebrate them and let them know how much they mean to me.
Sarah – Brand Manager
How did you get into your role? I was the founding member of the marketing team at Revo. I started as a Social Media and Marketing Coordinator.
Favourite thing about working at Revo? Seeing the growing impact Revo is having on the community.
What does International Women’s Day mean to you? Any day is a great day to celebrate the achievements and impact of women.
Natalie – Head of Operations
How did you get into your role? I started in the fitness industry almost 24 years ago as a casual receptionist. I’ve been with Revo for the last three and a half years, progressing through three different roles, which now brings me to my current position as Head of Operations.
Favourite thing about working at Revo? I love working with the people, the collaborative work environment, and knowing we are all working towards a common goal.
What does International Women’s Day mean to you? International Women’s Day is about celebrating women in business and ensuring that people know that a woman can do exactly what any person can do in any role, as long as they have the right mindset to achieve it.
Lauren – Senior Legal Counsel
How did you get into your role? I worked in the legal industry for 15 years in law firms, and the opportunity came up to work for a fitness company I grabbed it with both hands.
Favourite thing about working at Revo? In my interview, there were all these green flags, and since being here, those green flags have been firmly planted in the ground and championed by management.
What does International Women’s Day mean to you? True feminism is about equality for everyone. It’s not just about equality for women or pushing women above anyone else. In recent times, women’s rights have largely been won, but International Women’s Day is a reminder that this is an ongoing conversation because anything that is won can always be lost.
Kayla – Business Development Manager
How did you get into your role? I applied for a role at Revo Fitness while completing my post-grad in health promotions, and I basically never left. I originally intended to return to my field in dietetics, but I had four different role changes, and I’ve loved working at Revo so much that I stayed.
Favourite thing about working at Revo? The diversity of my job role and the fast-growing environment.
What does International Women’s Day mean to you? It’s a day to recognise and celebrate women. It’s exciting to be part of a generation where women have the opportunity to achieve whatever they want.
Jess – Chief People and Culture Officer
How did you get into your role? I’ve been in the HR field for nearly 20 years. The last 12 years, I’ve been in senior leadership roles. I got into this role because it was the perfect combination of doing something for the community while working with a high-performing team.
Favourite thing about working at Revo? I love the diverse and passionate team at Revo. I love that the members are at the centre of everything we do. It’s a founder-led organisation, which means it’s dynamic and full of energy.
What does International Women’s Day mean to you? I have always had a lot of great female mentors in my life and incredible women who have come before me. International Women’s Day is really important because it gives organisations a moment to reflect on what frameworks they have in place to support women. It’s about meaningful change, not just cupcakes and celebrations. It’s about recognising the barriers to equal participation and actively working to remove them.
Jen – National Development Manager
How did you get into your role? I’ve been in the construction industry since I was 18. I joined Revo in 2023 as a Project Manager, then moved into a Senior Project Manager role. As of February this year, I am the National Development Manager.
Favourite thing about working at Revo? I love how everyone is so encouraging and uplifting. We all support one another and celebrate our wins.
What does International Women’s Day mean to you? It’s a reminder that gender equality is an ongoing conversation, not something we only discuss on International Women’s Day.
Flora – Head of Marketing
How did you get into your role? I studied marketing at university and then moved to Sydney for my first job. After a few years, I wanted to come home, and I was lucky enough to land the Marketing Manager role at Revo. Over the years, I’ve been able to grow the team and now have my role as Head of Marketing.
Favourite thing about working at Revo? I love working for a high-growth, iconic Australian brand. I get to work with passionate, creative people every day who genuinely want Revo and each other to succeed.
What does International Women’s Day mean to you? International Women’s Day encourages workplaces, communities, and industries to reflect, learn, and improve gender equality. It acknowledges that gender equality is an ongoing conversation, not just one day a year.

How did you get into your role? I was in the fitness industry for a year before joining Revo. My passion for nutrition, fitness, and wellness led me to step into this role, and I’ve never looked back.
Favourite thing about working at Revo? The huge focus on building a safe, genuine, and authentic experience for everyone that walks through our doors. Whether you’re an elite athlete or a first-timer, there is a space for everyone.
What does International Women’s Day mean to you? Girls should be supporting girls. The discussions we should be having around gender equality should be ongoing, bringing each other up and making sure we have strong female support networks around us.
