David Aldridge

“Stop waiting for tomorrow.”

David grew up admiring the strength and size of All Blacks players, and became fascinated with human function and performance. His love for sport and movement lead him to eventually joining a gym, as well as studying a Bachelor of Science in Sport & Exercise Science to learn more about human physiology. David now enjoys imparting his knowledge onto his clients to have a positive impact.

For those unsure of whether now is the right time to start their fitness journeys, David says to stop waiting for tomorrow and start now. Try a multitude of things until you find what you love, and you’ll become more intrinsically motivated to keep with it as it becomes more of a hobby instead of a chore.

David ensures that his training style is tailored to the strength, fitness and physique goals of each individual. He focuses on correct form and technique to allow injury free training, and loves throwing in metabolic training and functional HIIT training to give his clients a good sweat sesh.

David is a massive film buff and loves watching anything starring Dawyne Johnson or Ryan Reynolds. He also enjoys spending time in nature hiking trails, going to the beach or geocaching.

What's your hidden talent?

Dance Dance Revolution is my true calling.

What’s your favourite gym exercise?

I love a date at the bar, especially if it's a sumo stance deadlift.
